Best of What I Read 2010

This best of what I read list/survey was started over at  ThePerpetualPageturner

1) Best book of 2010?
It's a tie between the first book I read and the last. Paper Towns by John Green and Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A. S. King.

2) Worst book of 2010?
Um... there weren't any real bad books this year, just books I wish I had like more than I did. The Secret of Ka by Christopher Pike was a book I wish I'd like more than I did.

3) Most disappointing book of 2010?
Fallen by Lauren Kate. It wasn't bad, but I was disappointed that I didn't like it anymore than I did (I am liking Torment a lot better though).

4) Most surprising (in a good way) book of 2010?
The Ghosts of Ashbury High by Jaclyn Moriarty . I've never read anything like it!

5) Book you recommended to people most in 2010?
It's a tie between The Ghosts of Ashbury High and The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms

6) Best series you discovered in 2010?
Definitely Vampire Academy (so good)!!

7) Favorite new authors you discovered in 2010?
John Green, Richelle Mead, Jaclyn Moriarty, and N. K. Jemisin,

8) Most hilarious read of 2010?
Vampire Crush by A. M. Robinson

9) Most thrilling unputdownable book in 2010?
Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr

10) Book you most anticipated in 2010?
Mockingjay of course!

11) Favorite cover of a book you read in 2010?

  2. Oh I love Jaclyn Moriarty! I really want to read Ghosts of Ashbury High but haven't yet got my hands on a copy. Glad to see you liked it. Have you read any of her other books?

  3. Sadly I haven't read any other books from Jaclyn, but I do have Feeling Sorry for Celia. I hope to read the whole series in order some time before summer!
